Our evaluation efforts are supported by leading RCGP examiners, former chief examiners, trainers, and trainees. We actively seek feedback from patients, trainers, and trainees to refine and enhance our service. Our commitment is to provide high-quality, ethical work that meets the needs of the training community.
Our transcription benchmarking scores are high. In a sample of >300 consultations we correctly identified the speaker as doctor with greater than 99% accuracy. In the same sample size and evaluation the measurement of time spent speaking by each speaker was found to be both reliable and accurate.
We run a weekly evaluation of consultation feedback to monitor reliability and accuracy. We continue on our journey of evaluation of our consultation recording, transcription, and behavioural analysis and we have engaged with training schemes and universities to this end.

A service evaluation of Clinitalk demonstrated sustained use of Clinitalk was associated with key positive behavioural trends core to SCA success and best clinical practice. A review of data from 3322 consultations from users in their first 4 months demonstrated Clinitalk use was associated with improvements in conversational balance.
Improvements were replicated in both UK and internationally qualified doctor groups.
Further analysis of 4552 consultations over 18 months demonstrated the trend towards improved sharing of the consultations was sustained.
Trainers reported they were impressed by the detail, depth and accuracy of its assessments and valued that it gave doctors confidence, helping them take responsibility for their own improvement. Trainees reported that Clinitalk helped them be more patient-centred, and ask more open questions.
